Highlights: Rand Fishkin, founder of (seo)Moz, is moving to a consulting role at the company. If you’re new to the industry I recommend you do some Googling to see the vast amount of value and leadership Rand has brought to SEO and to Moz. And while not an SEO, Rand’s wife, Geraldine DeRuiter should also be on your reading list. Read her book (yeah, a real book with paper and stuff), All Over the Place: Adventures in Travel, True Love, and Petty Theft and her blog… and rumor has it that Rand may be publishing one of those paper things, too.

In other news, Google won’t have to pay France $1.3 billion and Google AdWords now supports YouTube video views in remarketing lists. This and more SEO news from July 13, 2017.
